Extrusion process not only enhances the nutritional value of the ingredients and feed but also efficiency of the feed
- harmful microorganisms are destroyed, due to a short-term cooking and high temperature
- extrusion increases the digestibility of feed. It makes the starch easily accessible to digestive enzymes. The starch is transformed in sucrose and the proteins turn into less complicated forms
- extruded feed does not contain dust particles
- a short-term of heat treatment reduces the risk of lysine destruction

FEEDING OF BROILER CHICKENS
Pre-start period (1 ... 4 days of life):
The extruder increases the digestibility of feed ingredients such as maize, wheat, millet, oats, reduces the level of urease in full fat soy and soybean oil cake.
Starting period (5 ... 21 days):
The extruder allows to increase the input of soybean oil cake up to 25 ... 35%, as extrusion reduces the content of antinutrients
Growth period (22 ... 35 days):
While processing grain components the extruder destroys all harmful microflora and increases the feed digestibility
Finishing period (36 ... days):
This stage allows extruding the components with high metabolic energy in order to ensure the feeding of all feed ingredients.
